The roots of our business trace back to the tabletop industry in Greater Philadelphia in 1960. The business continued to grow, eventually expanding the office into a converted barn in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The old ivy running up the stone walls of the property inspired the name Ivystone that still carries forward today.
For over 50 years, Ivystone has been built on the foundation of teamwork, dedication, and passion for the gift and home industry. Today, we take great pride in representing many of the most respected brands in our industry, several of which have grown with us since the infant stages of our company.

VP | Sales
Andy has been a leader in the gift and home industry for 30 years; beginning in field sales, running his own sales agency in the Northeast – Blue Birch/BrassSmith House, and now part of Ivystone. Andy’s strong skills in Sales Leadership, Management, Brand Development and Strategic Planning define him as a key professional for our company, providing vision and direction for the future. He applies his organizational strengths, industry experience and broad background across all areas of the company to support major initiatives and lead new business development. Additionally, Andy has his MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies from Babson, was a Founder and Past President of the Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA), was a past President of the New England Gift Association and retired with 30 years combined service in the United States Navy and Navy Reserve.
VP | Operations
Jennifer has been in the Gift and Home Industry for 28 years. Her first career in public relations prepared her for the details, energy and excitement of the gift and home industry when she decided to join drummers inc., a successful agency in the Northeast. Her dedication and drive at drummers provided her with the extensive management skills to run operations and expertly manage business processes, inclusive of human resources, payroll, technology and the administrative team for Ivystone today. She decisively works to find solutions and is rewarded by helping people overcome challenges. Jennifer’s enthusiasm for the gift and home industry is evident whether behind the scenes or on the floor during trade shows.
VP | Vendor Relations
Monica began her sales career as a rep in the fashion business, owning her own sales agency, New Era Sales for 12 years. Monica transitioned to the gift and home business and worked for the Kennedy Group, one of the most successful rep agencies in the country, now part of Ivystone today. Her strengths are in listening to vendor’s needs and vision, then collaborating and creating successful partnerships benefitting the vendors, customers and sales reps. Her high energy level and excitement for the gift, home and fashion business is contagious and comes from the variety of people and products she works with. Monica has a strong understanding of the elements that make up the relationship between the vendor, rep and customer and is highly regarded for her expertise and integrity in the industry. Monica is an active member of The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA) and The Accessories Resource Team (ART) and is also a board member of Gift for Life.
Mike started in the Gift and Home industry in 1993 when he founded his own Midwest sales agency, Sales Partners. Ivystone and Sales Partners merged in 2007 and Mike continues to focus on strategic sales and growth opportunities for Ivystone. With over 25 years of experience as a field and key account rep, regional manager and long term strategic business partner, Mike’s skills bring a fresh perspective to Ivystone. Mike also has a solid understanding, respect and appreciation for the variety of people he works with in the gift and home industry. Mike defines success as being part of an exciting entrepreneurial company and having the opportunity to develop successful and dynamic sales teams. Mike is an active member of the Gift and Home Trade Association and Vistage International.
VP | Marketing
Nancy began her career as a sales rep shortly after graduating from college in interior design and marketing. This led into owning her own sales agency, Nancy Lee Ltd, which is now part of Ivystone today. Nancy’s passion and enthusiasm for the gift and home industry combined with her creative flair, innovative ideas and keen eye is a winning combination in her marketing and visual role for Ivystone Group. After 35 years in the gift and home industry, Nancy continues to be inspired by the team of people that she works with and the environment that surrounds her. Her love and knowledge for the industry shines through her vibrant personality. Nancy is an active member of Gift and Home Trade Association and Art-Accessories Resource Team.
After graduating from the University of Richmond, Doug began his career as a sales rep for Ivystone developing several territories in the Mid-Atlantic region and learning the ropes of the gift and home industry. He became President of Ivystone Group in 1997. Under his leadership, vision and innovative strategies, Ivystone Group rapidly grew while still maintaining a close knit family company culture. For Doug, success means building a company with the right people and watching your people succeed. Doug is former President of the Gift and Home Trade Association and current member of Vistage International-the world’s leading chief executive organization. Doug’s vision and strong leadership skills keep him focused on the continued success and growth of Ivystone today and into the future.
Our regional sales management team is made up of six talented and educated individuals with over 75 years of combined industry experience. Each of our managers set high standards for themselves and their sales teams focused on maximizing results and building strong partnerships in the gift and home trade.
