Retailers, wholesalers, and industry leaders gathered in Dallas on June 24 to celebrate the 75th annual Retailer Excellence Awards (REAs), presented by Gifts & Decorative Accessories. Marking a diamond anniversary milestone, the evening honored the creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit that continue to define the gift and home industry.

For 75 years, the REAs have recognized excellence in independent retail, and this year’s celebration continued that tradition, bringing together the community for a night of connection, recognition, and industry-wide celebration.

Eight independent retailers were honored across categories spanning design, merchandising, events, social media, and social responsibility. With more than 100 nominations submitted, 24 finalists were selected and winners were revealed live in Dallas during the gala celebration.

“The REAs continue to recognize the outstanding achievements of retailers and individuals who have made a remarkable impact on the industry and how we have all learned to adapt over the last 75 years.”

— Lenise Willis, Editor-in-Chief, Gifts & Decorative Accessories

The evening also celebrated Diamond Retailers in honor of the gala’s milestone anniversary, along with Sales Representatives of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year, highlighting the broader network of partners that supports independent retail success.
