Skip the Apple Fees on Social Media

Apple phone users, if you boost posts for your business on your phone, take note!

A new service fee will take effect later this month that will add 30% to your costs for boosting Instagram and Facebook posts. The Apple service charge is a result of updates Apple made to the App Store Review Guidelines, which Meta is going to pass on to you.

However, there's a way around it, courtesy of Meta. You will need to log in to your social accounts on your desktop, or use a web browser on your phone, instead of the apps for the two platforms.

Unfortunately, both methods will require you to pay up front, rather than afterwards like you may be used to. Depending on how much you spend on boosted posts, though, it may very well be worth the effort to avoid that 30% service fee.
